What should I check after strong wind or heavy rain?

From the ground, look for missing shingles, displaced flashing, damaged gutters, debris and new ceiling stains. Do not climb onto a wet roof or approach wet electrical fixtures. Contact Entrust for a roof inspection when conditions are safe.

Does a weather alert mean my roof is damaged?

No. A warning identifies a hazard in an area. Forecasts describe expected weather. Neither proves an impact or damage at your home. A physical inspection is needed to establish your roof's condition.

Why might no recent alert appear?

The NWS API provides a limited recent archive, generally up to seven days. Older storms, point filtering or unavailable records may leave no match. No returned match does not prove that a storm did not occur or that your roof is undamaged.
